expatlawyer.ae is operated by Mestaria Media and Legal FZE, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, licence 19970. Mestaria Media and Legal FZE decides how the details you share here are used.
What we collect, and why
Only what you enter in the sign-up form: your name, your email address and, if you choose, whether you're interested in personal or business matters and the kind of issue you pick. We also record that you gave consent, which version of the consent wording you saw, which form you used and when you signed up. We use these to email you when ela and ele activate and, if you agree, to send you updates. If you email hello@expatlawyer.ae, we keep your message to reply to it.
Who handles it for us
Trusted service providers host this site, store your details, send our emails and keep spam off our forms. Some are outside the UAE; each is bound by a data processing agreement.
How long we keep it
Mailing-list details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent, at privacy@expatlawyer.ae. You may also complain to the relevant UAE data protection authority.
